Stark needs a home Empty Stark needs a home

Post by celticpitbulls Sun Oct 17, 2010 8:52 pm

Hi

I found you guys on face book.. I have a male pitbull.. Stark. I rescued Stark about a year ago because he was very underweight and abused. I fed him and took good care of him. I fell in love with him but I already have a male rottie and he wont get on with Stark at all:( After one big fight:( I had to start looking for a home for Stark. I've been trying for nearly a year now and no luck at all... I've really tried but people have their opinions on these breeds:( They blame the breed when they should blame the bad humans.. I need to put him n a shelter very soon as I have a baby on the way and my rottie needs the house the Stark is in at the moment at night. I normally keep my rottie in side with me but he would be too jealous with a baby on the way.. I'll have to start getting him used to being outside..

Stark is about 4 years old and is a great boy.. He loves his walks and loves playing with balls and any toys really. I can get him neutered and vaccinated for you guys if you could take him in to your shelter. I'll understand if you can't.. I'll keep trying... I think you guys are based in Dublin?? Are you?? I am from Kerry and would be willing to drive all the way up with him xx

Here's a picture of the cutie xx He really needs a home

Thanking you

Oriana

Sadly a dog that age and the media attached to this breed. Its very hard to rehome this type of dog. Starks owner managed to hold out for a year to rehome him, no such luck. This is why we dont promote breeding puppies, just to have them. Even if the breeders are good people, but are they willing to take their dogs back, if anything happened? I hope Stark finds a good home soon Crying or Very sad

Does anyone think it would be a good idea to PM all the people who have threads 'good home available' etc. Then if even one was still interested it might do the job ::O
