What did you do? I love the idea of rescuing a pitbull, and giving him/her a great home, but probably not many of this breed go up for re-homing, or is going direct to a breeder better? Oh decisions, decisions. Ohhh I am so excited though. bounce

well vin is rite i would highly recommend you adopt a puppy or young dog from a shelter or pound, they are full of them, certainly if you decide to do this i can put you onto good people that im sure would know a bully needing a kind loving home.

I honestly didn't think there would be. affraid Who'd give up a pitty? Ahh I know some people might cause of change in circumstances etc, but I was thinking major long waiting lists etc. monkey

Looking forward to hearing all about these doggies needing homes. Any recs would be greatfully received.

Just call me Mystic Ro.

No, not really, It's one of the only places I know that I ever saw a pitbull in. I used to go up all the time to look at the dogs. Couldn't get one because I was cooped up in a gardenless pit. The woman that runs it (Lynne?) seems to have time for every type of animals. It's lovely to see.

Ohh Yes, the shed out the back with all the snakes. Lovely to hear a nice story about a Colon dog. I'd always be in bits on the way home thinking about them.

Holy crap, I can't believe how cruel some people can be.

Yes, I would be like your Caroline. Tears, tears, snot and more tears all the way back from Drogheda. I wonder is that why himself stopped being so keen on going? lol!

Well productive day. We found a rescue for pittys online. We couldn't ring, but sent a mail.

Check this baby out. Although I'd hold out for a pitty, but I love the face on this little lad.

A rescue in County Galway, bit of a trek, but it'd be worth it.

It states he is an American Bulldog? Can't link direct to the ad,

Edited as we cant have links without permission sorry Wink
