NEXT TRAINING DAY...

Great news just seen the weather forcast for weekend....

great, can people bring some spare towels, as its going to be a very warm day its important to keep the dogs cool after each run/event, towels can be socked in water and draped over the dogs back to cool them down, its very effective and will make a huge difference to the dog as they can over heat very easily.

ady from the first time we went to the event in the uk with you guys that was that for us, its all happened so fast and look now its great we are running our own day and feeling very comfortable doing them, we have great support from the members here on the forum, the lads all get stuck in helping out setting up the days etc, us girls are getting soooo good at giving the orders and cracking the whips but under it all we always have a great day. cant wait till the all Ireland championships now it will be such fantastic feeling seeing all these dogs competing publicly for the first time here in the country.

Have people to bring food . Lol

Its great what your doing for the Irish Pitbul Owners Lilly, and the breed in general;.. So for that im giving you and the group 10/10 . im just glad to be partaking in it .

Were moving forward so smoothly too ... New events added which means more training for the dogs.. its excellent .. And more to come too .... Whats next .... To be the 1st holders of the Irish/English agility Championship trophy of course

Ross again such a lovely post, its always lovely to hear some talk about how much they and their dogs enjoy the days, i cant take all the credit as Jules, eamo and so many more of you are the 1s that turn up and make it all happen, we do a hell of a lot of work behind the scenes etc and every day i enjoy to be doing what i do, we also take our hats off to the aces guys in the UK, for helping us to introduce these activity's here to Ireland for all of us, i think we are building a huge community whether you live here or across the water we all have the same things in common that's positive with these dogs. its great and im having a ball with each and every 1 of you.

might be a good idea if you can get a paddling pool and see if you can run a hose from the pub to keep the dogs cool.
Have to be careful running dogs in the heat, you dont want any getting heat stroke.
just be careful peeps

FACTOR 50+ FOR DOGS AND HUMAN LOBSTERS,especially any dogs like Bowie with pinkish skin and be carefull with dogs in cars.
can't wait will try to stay most of the day tomorrow.

thats good advice thanks a mil, yeah we will have to make sure all dogs are kept nice and cool, crates are the best as ya can just put a cover over them and there's a nice breeze, plenty of water etc,

cant wait now just going to head up to the field now in a bit to get the hurdles sorted...
