I'm going to make one. It's just the clasps he breaks. So I will try get ones got rock climbing that hold Ppl that fall. See how that works .

Christy if you can source one of these they are the job. Some of the clasps on good leads often are not up to standard. this type of clip is practically unbreakable although you do have to put a little WD40 on the hinges a couple of times a year to stop them seizing. Will hold a large horse providing it has a nylon head collar and rope to any fixed point. Another good thing with these are they are very quick & easy to clip on. If you can get a good nylon lead professionally stitched onto this your dog will only get away if you let go lol

Go into any builder/DIY place and there'll be a shelf or two with rolls of different sizes of chain and rope etc. Usually there'll be different clips, hooks and links etc just above or beside them. All different sizes etc.

Christy they do have them in Atlantic ...

They have 90kg spec .. all the way to 350kgs .. (its marked on them)

Either there or 53 Degrees north in the same retail park (climbing Carabeener)

Or millets do them aswell ...... Downstairs in the centre ..

Just make sure to put it on the counter when your at the till area............

lol! lol! lol!
