How big is a Pitbull?

I found out my friend has 3 staffs and when I went to his house I was shocked how small they were, So I was wondering how big are your dogs?
My Dog Bobby is 22" to the shoulder and 35kg, and Ruby is 18" and 22kg but shes only 9months.

Well my cleo is about 19-20 height not sure of the weight, but celtics butch and vins buddy would be alot taller. With big fat heads

yeah butches big fat head is 22inches and weighs 5 stone

my butch is 22 to the shoulder and is 33kg

my bitch molly is 20 to the shoulder and about 28kg

and my last little sasha she's 19 to the shoulder and weighs 29 kg.

i know their weights coz the winter is over and its time to strip down a little for the summer.

You can get Staffies in various sizes and pedigree too. The Staff for the show ring would be alot smaller. So called show standards

i like the little show breed staffs, their really good for small kids and they are just little clowns

These dogs are from Crufts nominated bloodlines, Toby was 700euro he's black and has a huge head. I'll get a pic the next time.

The owner (My friend) is from Dublin, same as most of ye. But lives in old 'scommon now lol.

I had a Yorkie for 14 yrs she practically reared every pup and even a kitten that came through my house

Haahaa just joking with you, I'd love to have 2 pits.

Apbt come in different shapes & sizes I have seen some as small as 16" & some as large as 25" what I have found that since the ban in 1991/2 there has been more bred for larger size due to the big is better mentality, as for kc registered staffs again i have seen some at 14" & some around 20" I mysekf prefer a dog round about 18" reguardless of the breed

That's true what you are saying about various sizes in Pit-bulls and Staffs, a few of us went to that dog show in the R.D.S. last year. We where particularly interested in the Bull Breeds. The Staffies where gorgeous but very small, i was'nt impressed with the Am staffs. They where nice but give me a Pit-bull any day :D
