but i think i know where your coming from years ago when i was a kid i was told by someone that back in the day when badger hunting was legal the lads would put sticks in there wellie's so that when / if the badger bit it would hear the snap and release it turned out to be a spoof to put the ferociousness of the badger into perspective Wink

I always heard people saying that a Badger woudnt let go until he heard the bone break... Learn something new every day.

I didnt miss your point, when it comes to a collie and a bull breed especially pit bull then there is no contest. It was just the way it came across I think that made a few people respond the way they did...... lock jaw and unpredictable..... All breeds imo are unpredictable.

Yes all dogs are unpredtictable as i said i would not leave my daughter with any dog, but i was aiming it my pit Milo as he is the stronger dog and as you said would be no contest for sure. Point of it all. I am a responsible owner so i will make sure while i am not around they are seperated, that way nothing can happen.

Thats it caren prevention is better than cure. Being responsible and having a bit of common sense makes life alot easier and alot safer for both owners and their dogs. sunny
