Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
teddy should have points for last week.he should be on 5 i dont understand how this works will all dogs who attended for 4 weeks go into championships with just the points needed to qualify or will the dogs with extra points start off with extra points.

Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
Yes 4 points is all you need to qualify there is nothing to gain by having more att/points than someone else. I may have missed a few on the table simply because they are in anyway. I have spent the last 2 nights going over all results over the past 8 weeks to make sure I haven't missed anyone on the 3's and 2's. As i said earlier please get back to me asap only if you think you should have the required number of attendances (4). thanks, Caro if you go to the very first post on this thread it has been updated with all dogs that have qualified. there are a few more on 3 which after this Sunday will hopefull be added to the list.

The points are just for getting there. They have nothing to do with what happens after you're qualified.

Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
caro the league is finishing this sunday its all over.... As harry said the attendances where set in place so every dog that had 4 attendances can compete in the champs. the weekend of the champs every dog starts with a clean slate, there are no points involved only 1st 2nd 3rd placings for all events.

Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
thought there was ppoints involved so someone couldnt just walk in with their dog day of the championship and walk away with trophy, so you have to have 4 attendances to compete in championship, maybe im having dizzy moment here

Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
you have got to of attended at least 4 training days to be able to enter the all of Ireland comp its not about points.

Re: Dogs Qualified for Championships in September
caro there was 2 separate points systems. the first 1 was that you would have to attend at least 4 trainings days to qualify for the all Ireland, the other point system was a league, meaning dogs that started the league built up points from all the activity's depending on them doing well or being placed, the attendance points have noting to do with the league as its just to qualify for the championships, and the points for the league if teddy did well would be added to that system, teddy only started late and there for even if he was to get over all points this sunday he is to far behind to catch up! teddy has being giving points the same as any other dogs coming up to the league and he doesn't need anymore attendance points to enter the comp as he has being with us more than 4 times.

caro the league and championship are differant things .
the league goes by the points who ever has the most points wins,
for the championship you need 4 "training day"attendences's to be allowed enter .
