Re: Ipbta atletic k9 day.
REMINDER OF RULES FOR CHAMP EVENT
Said Dog/Bitch must gain 3 points at designated events held through-out the year. These points can be gained by winning a performance pursuit/Discipline and an optional 1 point won in conformation.
To become a grand champion Dog/Bitch must gain an extra 2 points = 5 in separate performance pursuits/Disciplines.
A champion of Champion title rests on Repeating their performances at an IPBTA event.
Such points are to be gained in various pursuits/Disciplines... weight-puling, A-Frame, lure racing, speed-pull, long jump, hurdles, high wall, hang tough or whichever way IPBTA designated.
Also remember that if a dog wins an event that has already gained a point in that category the point does not go to second place and so on. You have to beat all dogs in that event and the dogs have to be members of IPBTA.
E.G
1. If there are 5 dogs competing in an event only 2 are members then there will be NO champ points for that discipline.
N.B to be eligible for champ points there has to be at least 3 dogs that are reg members of IPBTA in each event.

Re: Ipbta atletic k9 day.
You probably already know or have seen on our Facebook page that Sunday's members only athletic day has been cancelled due to a number of our member's dogs having kennell cough. Get well soon to all the dogs that are sick and we look forward to our next day, details of which will be up over the next couple of weeks....
