ACES Training day 10th july..

DATE: Sunday 10th JULY, starting at 11 sharp.

Venue: Back of Campions pub, Malahide Road, Balgriffin, Dublin 17

Location: Coming from Dublin City, head out the Malahide Road. Once you pass the Hilton Hotel at the M50/Donaghmede junction, Campions is about 200 yards up on the left-hand side. Drive into the car park and the gate to the venue will be facing you.

BBQ provided just bring some food and cook it!


Activity's on the day will be lure racing/Hurdles, speed pull and ether long jump/a-frame.

Admission for this day is.. €6 per dog participating in training, €2 euro spectator, Children FREE, AND puppy's 6months and under are also Free.

All funds raised go's to the expenses of the venue set up. Rent, insurance and fencing.

If you have a crate for your dogs please bring it with you along with an appropriate muzzle.

IPBTA will provide weight pull harnesses to those that don't have 1. And hoping to have some appropriate muzzle to lend out on the day.

what did you all think about the hurdles this week??

the biz lil.... tell ya gives them something extra to work for.... i seen daisy giving vito the sly eye in one of the pics coz he was baiting over them....lol

lol yeah they make some strange faces alright lol,, these days are just getting better all the time, the difference in all the dogs and where did jenny pull that 11 feet long jump out of lol

i know she done very well.... butch will have to watch her....lol

maybe try start with something else this time.we always do the lure would be good to mix it up and see what they get in other events when there fresh

hi sean, we always start with the lure to give the dogs a run to take the edge off them and also to warm up for all other events, its also the activity that takes up the most time but we can run both lure and a-frame together leaving us with a choice of an extra event depending on the number of dogs there on the day, we are looking into getting the long jump set up so we can have all 3 running together this should keep every1 moving.

I think the hurdles were good, but just keep the last one blocked off aswell so they can't run around it

Molly got an up close view of the hurdles and Christy when she smashed through one of them in her first run, lol, she's a little swollen today.. I think the dogs loved it so all good :)

so great to hear you all had a good time, we should have the date up for the all Ireland championship in the next day or 2, so im sure we'll all be buzzing for that, also we got some very special guests coming over from the UK for this, its going to be 1 hell of a weekend guys.
