Hello, and welcome to IPBTA Forum, a gathering place for responsible dog owners and enthusiasts. We are dedicated to promoting the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier. In addition, we are committed to fostering an atmosphere where education and collaboration can thrive in hopes of helping you to understand these wonderful dogs,In order to uphold our goals and purpose for this forum, we do have a few simple rules and guidelines that are in place. As you browse the forum and interact with other members, it's crucial that you keep this set of rules in mind, no matter how involved the discussions may become.

It's okay to have intense discussions and arguments as long as everyone involved behaves in a professional manner; in fact, we here believe that mature debate and discussion are vital to an educational forum such as this. Please do not misinterpret polite but firm disagreement or debate as a personal attack. Remember that strong disagreement and debate are not the same things as "flaming."

A members cannot:

Promote dog fighting...
We DO NOT welcome or condone dog fighters nor do we allow the promotion of any illegal activities on this forum. We do not tolerate abuse of pit bulls or any breed! Any postings of this subject will be deleted and the poster will be banned from this site.


Advertise kennels, sold dogs, advertise for breeding.

Use this forum as a rumor mill for the PB community. We believe we should focus on our common thread, love for the APBT and to provide only educational materiel.

NO SELLING DOGS! NO ADVERTISING YOUR KENNEL!
There will be no selling of dogs, studding or breeding's advertised on this forum, Only postings of adoptions and rescues will be accepted. We believe the sale/studding/breeding's of dogs in this manner will only promote the terrible problem of abandoned pit bulls that have to live caged in shelters, or even worse, unwanted pit bulls being put to sleep. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE RULE! you may not Post links to kennels, chat rooms, or other forums.

Discuss religion or politics - as these topics tend to conflict with why we're all here. (Discussion relating to Breed-Specific Legislation is allowed.)

Promote the abuse of drugs or alcohol; especially relating to pets being involved.
It should go without saying but...racist commentary of any kind will not be tolerated here. The posting of racist remarks may lead to immediate and permanent suspension of one's membership.
