Tougher dog control laws passed

I understand that they want to end incidents but their doing it in a weird way like puting up the price of the dog license?
Any dog can meet a dog one day and just not get along with them and end up in a fight... I think the council are forgetting dogs are dogs they dont think like people they act on their instinct. Hopefully the microchipping helps...
How much is it to get your dog chipped? I need to get shadow done but dont have a lot of money at the minute.

yeah i need to get mine microchipped too..... from the vet i think its €45 or €35 if your getting there annual booster.... cant afford that at the mo so i have a disc with details on for now.

The DSPCA do it cheap me thinks..

The Blue Cross do cheap microchipping aswell.

its a bloody disgrace these laws, more laws that simply wont work, here's an idea blame the bloody owners and put the responsibility on them rather than a dog that cant read or understand the law and we just might get somewhere.
i cant believe they think this is a way to promote responsible dog ownership and that it will prevent any attacks on people or dogs, what are they thinking?
