CH TITLE POINT RULES!!

Said Dog/Bitch must gain 3 points at designated events held through-out the year. These points can be gained by winning a performance pursuit/Discipline and an optional 1 point won in conformation.
To become a grand champion Dog/Bitch must gain an extra 2 points = 5 in separate performance pursuits/Disciplines.
A champion of Champion title rests on Repeating their performances at an IPBTA event.
Such points are to be gained in various pursuits/Disciplines... weight-puling, A-Frame, lure racing, speed-pull, long jump, hurdles, high wall, hang tough or whichever way IPBTA designated.
Also remember that if a dog wins an event that has already gained a point in that category the point does not go to second place and so on. You have to beat all dogs in that event and the dogs have to be members of IPBTA.
E.G
1. If there are 5 dogs competing in an event only 2 are members then there will be NO champ points for that discipline.
2. If a dog has a point on the aframe for example and gets first place the next champ day then the point will NOT be awarded for that event.
N.B to be eligible for champ points there has to be at least 3 dogs that are reg members of IPBTA in each event.

Thanks. So they have to win the event outright? So if they come second in all the events they get nada?

Ye have to come first in three different events, as in you can't win the long jump three times and become a ch and 5 different events for gr ch.
I agree with only awarding points for placing 1st.

yeah guys you are all rite, its just fist place dogs that will gain the point on each activity. were still just getting our heads around things and the more questions asked the better .

I think they were talkin about having 3 mini champs and one big one a year so there would be 4 days a year in total that ch points would be up for grabs.

Thats the idea Harry , Championship days are 4 times a season at ACES events but there is no obligation to anyone
wanting to adhere to their own rules & reg's !
The idea was put in motion & people choose their own path , as long as the dogs have the crack then happy day's !
